Harris County Home Value provides an online platform offering automated property valuation estimates for residential real estate in Harris County, Texas. The Service uses proprietary algorithms, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and market data analysis to generate estimated property values. The Service also facilitates introductions between property owners and licensed Texas real estate agents.
You must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

THE PROPERTY VALUATIONS PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE ARE AUTOMATED ESTIMATES ONLY AND ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL APPRAISALS, CERTIFIED VALUATIONS, OR GUARANTEES OF ACTUAL MARKET VALUE. THEY DO NOT CONSTITUTE THE PRACTICE OF REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE OR APPRAISAL UNDER TEXAS LAW.
Our valuations are for informational purposes only and must not be relied upon for mortgage applications, legal proceedings, tax disputes, estate matters, or any transaction where a certified appraisal is required by law or lender policy. You must obtain a certified appraisal from a Texas-licensed appraiser for such purposes.
Actual property values may differ materially from our estimates due to factors including but not limited to market volatility, property-specific conditions not captured in public records, data inaccuracies, recent improvements or deterioration, unique features, neighborhood changes, flood zone status, deed restrictions, and other factors affecting value in Texas real estate markets.
YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT HARRIS COUNTY HOME VALUE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON PROPERTY VALUATIONS PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICE.
HARRIS COUNTY HOME VALUE IS NOT A REAL ESTATE BROKER, AGENT, OR DEALER AND DOES NOT HOLD A TEXAS REAL ESTATE LICENSE. WE DO NOT REPRESENT BUYERS OR SELLERS IN TRANSACTIONS AND ARE NOT A PARTY TO ANY AGREEMENT BETWEEN USERS AND AGENTS.
All agents in our network are independent licensed Texas real estate professionals regulated by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC). We do not employ, supervise, or control their actions. Each agent is independently responsible for their conduct and TREC compliance.
We verify that agents hold an active Texas real estate license at the time of application. "Verified" refers to license status verification only — not to professional competence, reputation, or fitness for any particular transaction.
Agents in our network pay per-referral fees to the Company. This arrangement does not affect the free nature of the Service for homeowners and does not create any fiduciary relationship between the Company and any user.
HARRIS COUNTY HOME VALUE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ACTS, OMISSIONS, REPRESENTATIONS, NEGLIGENCE, OR CONDUCT OF ANY ESTATE AGENT, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH ANY AGENT.
By submitting property information or other content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process such content for the purposes of operating and improving the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit such content and that it is accurate.
The Service and all its contents — including software, algorithms, text, design, and imagery — are owned by Harris County Home Value or its licensors and are protected by US copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any portion of the Service without our express written permission.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HARRIS COUNTY HOME VALUE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF HARRIS COUNTY HOME VALUE FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some states, including Texas, do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such states, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Harris County Home Value and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, your User Content, or your interactions with any estate agent.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Before initiating any formal dispute proceedings, you agree to first contact us at info@harriscountyhomevalue.com to attempt informal resolution.
Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right under these Terms does not waive that right.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Harris County Home Value regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
